The woman behind 100+ grade jumps.
Ms Nithyadarrshiny isn't a tutor. She's a catalyst — one who has spent over a decade turning Singapore's struggling students into top-tier scorers.
From unheard child, to unstoppable mentor.
My name is Nithyadarrshiny — friends call me Shiny. I grew up in Singapore as a quiet, curious child, often dismissed as "too shy" or "too intense" by teachers who didn't know what to make of me.
But I found my voice through English literature. I fought my way into Anderson Junior College, then earned my degree in English Literature at the National University of Singapore.
Ten years on, I've coached 100+ students from borderline passes to A1/A grades. Built a proprietary teaching system — the Brain Jack Method™. And founded Boss Grade Academy — a training ground for the next generation of Singapore's scholar-leaders.
A decade in the making. One chapter at a time.
Every milestone — personal and professional — that shaped the educator I am today.
Anderson Junior College
The turning pointAdmitted to one of Singapore's top JCs — against every teacher's prediction. First time I felt seen for my intellect, not my silence. English became my weapon.
NUS English Literature
Finding my voiceGraduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in English Literature. Spent four years learning not just the craft of writing — but how language shapes confidence, character, and clarity.
First Student. First Jump.
The work beginsCoached my first Sec 4 student from B4 to A2 in four months. Realised the Singapore education system rewarded strategy far more than effort — and that most tutors weren't teaching strategy at all.
The Brain Jack Method™
A system is bornAfter five years of refinement, I codified my approach into a repeatable framework — combining neuroscience, mindset work, and language mastery. Results became consistent: two-grade jumps in weeks.
Boss Grade Academy
The training groundLaunched BGA with a clear mission: this isn't tuition. It's a training ground for scholar-leaders — students who don't just pass exams, but shape futures. 100+ grade jumps later, the mission stands.
I don't teach English. I build warriors.
Warriors who can think, write, and lead. Who walk into exam halls unshaken. Who speak up in boardrooms one day. Who use language not to pass — but to move people.

10+ Years Coaching
A decade of refining what works in the Singapore exam system — and what doesn't.
100+ Grade Jumps
Documented, verifiable results — from C/D grades to A1/A in months, not years.
Four values. Non-negotiable.
Every student who walks through our doors is taught these four principles. Grades follow. Character leads.
-
01
Precision over effort The bell curve rewards strategy — not how hard you try. We teach the strategy.
-
02
Identity over information You don't rise to your goals. You fall to your identity. We build the identity of a top scorer.
-
03
Mastery over memorisation Memorising dies in the exam hall. Mastery stays for life.
-
04
Courage over comfort Growth lives outside the comfort zone. Every lesson pushes the boundary — gently, but always.
